Instructions for Registration as a new library member

Please, register as a library member to benefit from the Library’s services. By submitting your application, you accept the terms governing the LIBRARY OPERATING REGULATIONS and the provisions for the protection of personal data.

To apply for registration as a member of the Library, follow the instructions below:

Step 1. Click on the link: https://uniwa-opac.seab.gr/ to enter the Public electronic catalog of the Libraries of the University of Athens.

Step 2. Click on the little man icon to log in to your account: https://uniwa-opac.seab.gr/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl

Step 3. Click on “Log in via your Institutional Account”.

Step 4. Fill in your username and password and then, after making sure that your profile details are correct, click on “confirm”

Step 5. After completing step 4 and confirming your details, your initial loan card has been created, but at this stage it is still inactive. You will then need to go to the Library desk service and present your academic ID card so that the employee can fill in the details that will be requested from you (home address, contact numbers, etc.) and then activate your card. Once your card is activated, your academic ID card functions as a library card and will be the necessary identification document to borrow books.
